Prices include GST; many venues add a 10–15% surcharge on Sundays and public holidays.
US dollar amounts are a mid-market estimate as of 2026-10-28, not the venue's price. The venue charges Australian dollars.
10% on weekends and 20% on public holidays. A Tuesday pizza-and-spritz line starts at 5 and does not print an end time, so it is not on this card. GST is included.

Worth knowing in Brisbane
Brisbane’s happy hour is a short early list. The law is why so many rooms never put it on the website.
The rule
Queensland allows the discount inside the venue and does not allow it to be advertised so someone outside can see it. A venue licensed past 1 a.m. in the Brisbane City Council area is limited to two hours before 9 p.m. GST is in the price. You must be 18. See the Australia page.
The custom
The CBD does a 4-to-6, often a schooner, a glass of wine, and a cocktail. Fortitude Valley and Howard Smith Wharves do the same shape when they print it. A schooner is the beer. Sunday surcharges are a wage custom, printed separately.
Using the Atlas here
The Brisbane card in this first wave was read on the venue’s own site. Many well-known rooms run the hour and do not print the price, because advertising it outside the building is restricted. Those rooms are not missing by accident.
Across Australia
Australian happy hour is legal and ordinary, and it is not a free-for-all. New South Wales and Victoria both tell licensees that a discount must not be built to make people drink fast. The price on the menu already includes GST.
The vibe
A Grey Street Italian room with a daily 3-to-5 spritz list.
