US dollar amounts are a mid-market estimate as of 2026-10-28, not the venue's price. The venue charges Canadian dollars.
Prices are before GST and tip. The page also prints a Veuve pour at and a featured cocktail at under fall features; those are not the happy-hour list above.

Worth knowing in Calgary
Calgary prints the hour the way Toronto and Vancouver do: an afternoon list, often a second one after 9, and a price on the venue’s own page.
The rule
Alberta allows a posted drink discount at any hour, above a low minimum price. A 2-for-1 is not allowed, so it is not on these cards. GST is 5%, with no provincial sales tax, and it is not in the menu price. A tip is extra. You must be 18. See the Canada page.
The custom
Downtown and Stephen Avenue run from about 2 or 3 until 5 or 6, then again after 9 in the lounge. Mission on 4th Street does the same shape: half-price wine, a cheaper cocktail, a short snack list. 17th Avenue is the longer neighborhood version. A steakhouse lounge and a hotel bar publish the same kind of card as a taco room.
Using the Atlas here
Every Calgary card in this first wave was read on the venue’s own site in October 2026. Half price is the discount the page prints. A line at $7 or $7.50 is one drink at that price. Where a chain has several Calgary rooms, one location is listed.
Across Canada
Canadian happy hour is the same shape as the American one — a posted afternoon window — with provincial minimum prices underneath it and a tax line that does not match the US bill.
The vibe
The dining room and bar at the Fairmont Palliser, with a daily 2-to-5 list.
