The rule
Georgia permits drink specials. Hours are local; many Atlanta licences run to 2:30 a.m. or later. Confirm the close rather than assuming a statewide bell.
The custom
Midtown and Buckhead do the office version. East Atlanta, Old Fourth Ward, and West Midtown do the neighborhood version, later and more food-led. Sweet tea is not the drink on this list; a cocktail or a glass of wine is. Sunday brunch is a bigger ritual than Sunday happy hour.
