HAPPY HOUR ATLAS

LOCAL CUSTOMS · FORT LAUDERDALE

How happy hour works in Fort Lauderdale

Same Florida rules as Miami, with a beach and a boatyard instead of a downtown grid.

The rule

Florida permits drink discounts and does not cap the happy-hour clock. Last call is generally 2 a.m.

The custom

Las Olas and the beach hotels run the polished version: a spritz, a glass of wine, a short seafood menu, starting mid-afternoon. It is less of an office rush than Brickell and more of a long outdoor hour. A two-for-one on the board is a legal offer here.
