The rule
Arizona permits happy-hour pricing. Last call is 2 a.m. There is no Massachusetts-style ban and no Pennsylvania-style hour cap.
The custom
From May to September the patio is a morning idea. Happy hour moves indoors or waits until the sun drops, which in June is late. Old Town Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix are the two maps. A margarita and a short Mexican menu are the local deal. “Resort happy hour” in Scottsdale can be a different, pricier list from the neighborhood one.
