The vibe
Chef Raheem Sealey, former Executive Chef at James Beard–nominated KYU Miami (where KYU earned a 2017 James Beard Best New Restaurant semifinalist nod and World's 50 Best Restaurants inclusion in 2021). Shiso opened March 2025 and was immediately featured in Eater Miami's Best New Restaurants, Infatuation's Best Restaurants in Wynwood, and Time Out Miami's Best New Restaurants. The most exciting new opening in Wynwood in 2025 — a rooftop Asian smokehouse from the chef who built KYU's reputation, now running one of the widest happy hour windows in the neighborhood (6 days a week).
