The rule
New Zealand allows a posted drink discount. You must be 18. GST is 15% and is already in the price. A tip is not expected. See the New Zealand page.
The custom
Thorndon does a 4-to-6 plate with a drink, and a longer weekend window. Courtenay Place does a Monday-to-Saturday 4-to-6 at one price for a snack and a house pour. A page that names the hour and leaves the price off is not on this card.

Every Wellington card in this first wave was read on the venue’s own site in October 2026. A line at $25 or $35 is the package the page prints, a plate and a drink together, not one cocktail at that price.
